December Income Report - Getting Ready For 2017

So I’m trying to get better about posting these income reports more consistently, given it’s almost the end of January it’s better I do it now than wait till February to try to think back to everything I did.

So why share an income report?

I believe in transparency and I also want people to see both what’s working for me and what’s not. It’s also a great way for me to keep track of everything I’m doing online and my own personal progress.

December was not a huge month by any means and there were some key failures, I didn’t have super high hopes given the holidays and a lot of people are spending money on gifts among other things.

One of the biggest obstacles I faced through the month of December was chasing clients down for money they owed me. I have been having some clients make payments as much as 3 weeks late which makes things very difficult (most of my payments came in this month). I quickly implemented Freshbooks to help with this but so far it really has not helped all that much.

I also ran 2 webinars in December for my SEO consulting blueprint course and the first one was a total failure due to me having major internet connectivity issues. The 2nd was split among my partner and 2 other affiliates so making sales on my product ended up getting split 4 ways. This was fine in my eyes because most of the traffic was generated from a launch our partners had done so we simply just had to show up for the webinar.

I can definitely say my webinar game is improving and I’m excited to see what I can do with webinars in 2017. I was also given the opportunity to teach the members of Drip Core on a monthly basis through webinars which is pretty exciting. I’m glad to be able to contribute to their community.

I have also been doing really well with affiliate marketing now that I have started to build an email list, I’ve decided moving forward the only promotions I will be doing will be for products I actually use and 100% recommend.
